Pregnancy Survey~ 35 weeks

How Far Along: 35 weeks

Size of baby: Your baby doesn't have much room to maneuver now that she's over 18 inches long and tips the scales at 5 1/4 pounds (pick up a honeydew melon.  Because it's so snug in your womb, she isn't likely to be doing somersaults anymore, but the number of times she kicks should remain about the same. Her kidneys are fully developed now, and her liver can process some waste products. Most of her basic physical development is now complete — she'll spend the next few weeks putting on weight.

Total Weight Gain/Loss: Lost count.. Just enjoying eating things I won't be able to eat for much longer : )

Maternity Clothes: Yes

Movement: Lots of movement.  I hope hoping with all the moving she has been doing that she is now head down.  I go to high risk on Friday so I will know for sure then!
 Gender: Baby GIRL-- Olivia Ann

What I miss:  Wearing my wedding ring, sleeping comfortably, being able to reach my toes.

Sleep: Sleeping pretty good.  It's hard to get comfortable.

Symptoms: Legs and feet are really sore/swollen by the evening. TIRED!

Cravings: Mexican/Chiptole and sweets

Belly button in or out? Flat : )

Wedding ring off or on? Off.  I am no longer able to wear it.
What I am looking forward to: Jason is coming HOME!! Jason will get to see his first ultrasound of Olivia on Friday when we go to our high risk appointment.

Pregnancy Survey~ 34 weeks

How Far Along: 34 weeks

Size of baby: Your baby now weighs about 4 3/4 pounds (like your average cantaloupe) and is almost 18 inches long. Her fat layers — which will help regulate her body temperature once she's born — are filling his out, making her rounder. Her skin is also smoother than ever. Her central nervous system is maturing and her lungs are continuing to mature as well. If you've been nervous about preterm labor, you'll be happy to know that babies born between 34 and 37 weeks who have no other health problems generally do fine.

Total Weight Gain/Loss: Total weight gain is about 27 pounds.  I was off last week for my post.  I did gain 3 more pounds as of last week, but who is counting!

Maternity Clothes: Yes

Movement: Lots of movement. She is now pressing her body parts against my belly and I can feel hard things on the outside.  I can also see her moving through my skin

Gender: Baby GIRL-- Olivia Ann

What I miss:  Wearing my wedding ring.

Sleep: No problems sleeping this past week.  Getting up about 1 time per night to go to the bathroom.

Symptoms: Legs and feet are really sore by the evening.  Hard to shave my legs and I am not only wear slip on shoes.

Cravings: Mexican/Chiptole and sweets

Belly button in or out? Flat : )

Wedding ring off or on? Off.  I am no longer able to wear it.

What I am looking forward to: Jason is coming HOME next week!! It has been a long 6 months.  Hailey and I are looking forward to our last few weeks of a family of 3!

Pregnancy Survery~ 33 weeks

How Far Along: 33 weeks

Size of babyThis week your baby weighs a little over 4 pounds (heft a pineapple) and has passed the 17-inch mark. She's rapidly losing that wrinkled, alien look and her skeleton is hardening. The bones in her skull aren't fused together, which allows them to move and slightly overlap, thus making it easier for her to fit through the birth canal. (The pressure on the head during birth is so intense that many babies are born with a conehead-like appearance.) These bones don't entirely fuse until early adulthood, so they can grow as her brain and other tissue expands during infancy and childhood.

Gender: Baby GIRL-- Olivia Ann

Pregnancy Survey~ 32 weeks

How Far Along: 32 weeks

Size of baby: By now, your baby weighs 3.75 pounds (pick up a large jicama) and is about 16.7 inches long, taking up a lot of space in your uterus. You're gaining about a pound a week and roughly half of that goes right to your baby. In fact, she'll gain a third to half of her birth weight during the next 7 weeks as she fattens up for survival outside the womb. She now has toenails, fingernails, and real hair (or at least respectable peach fuzz). Her skin is becoming soft and smooth as she plumps up in preparation for birth.

Total Weight Gain/Loss: Total weight gain is about 25 pounds. I gained 2 pounds since my last appointment.

Maternity Clothes: Yes

Movement: Lots of movement. She is now pressing her body parts against my belly and I can feel hard things on the outside. She is especially active in the evenings. She is still frank breach so her feet and head are almost touching.  She is not head down yet.

Gender: Baby GIRL-- Olivia Ann

What I miss:  My husband : (

Sleep: Getting harder to find a comfortable position to sleep.  I have been putting a pillow between my legs and under my belly which has seemed to help.

Symptoms: Some swelling in my fingers, especially in the evenings.  Legs get tingling cramps once in a while from her hitting a nerve.

Cravings: Mexican/Chiptole

Belly button in or out? Flat : )

Wedding ring off or on? On, but I have to take them off after school.  It's been hot her and my fingers are swelling in the evening!
What I am looking forward to: Hospital tour on Wednesday.
