April Happenings!!

CEREAL!!

Yum! Yum! Yum! Hailey had her first experience with rice cereal on Friday. She seems to enjoy it but I am not sure how much she actually ate. She pushed a lot of it out with her tongue.

Towards the end she finally started to put her tongue down. It was really hard to put the spoon in her mouth when her tongue is on the roof of her mouth.

6 month stats~

Weight: 12 lbs 6.8 oz (preemie chart 13%)

Lenght: 23 1/2 inches (preemie chart 9%)

Head: 15 1/4 inches (preemie chart 16%)

*Loves anything with lights and music

*Rolling over from tummy to back

*As soon as she sees mom or dad, she instantly smiles (which melts our hearts!)

*When you walk into a room and talk to her, she turns her head to try and see you

*She is laughing and giggling

*She likes her "Johnny Jumper"

*She goes to bed around 8:00 and usually sleeps until 6:30

*She is wearing size 2 diapers

*She wears 4-6 months clothes

*She eats between 4-6 oz every 4 hours

Jason had to wear his dress blues for a command picture last week. Before he snuck out of the house, I convinced him to pose for a picture!

Meeting Great Grandparents

We went to Minnesota for spring break this year. Many of my relatives had not yet met Hailey so we decided it would be a great time for everyone to finally meet her! We were not sure how she would do on the plane but we were pleasently surprised- she slept the whole flight, both ways!! We could not have asked for anything better. We are planning on driving to MN this summer, lets hope she does just as good!

Baptism Day

Hailey was baptized at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church by Pastor Ronningen on April 4th, 2010.

Randy Lenz and Molly Yost are Hailey's godparents. We are so blessed to have such wonderful friends!

Babies, Babies and more Babies...

Kristin and her baby Reagan (2 months), Amy and her daughter Natalie ( 1 year) and Val came down to Rochester to visit with us. It was the first time all the babies met. We cannot wait to see them again this summer!

Note: This was right before Natalie went to get up- she rolled over right onto Hailey. No one was injured. To tell you the truth, I don't think Hailey even knew what happened!
