How Far Along: We are now 24 weeks pregnant! Time is flying.
Size of baby: Your baby's growing steadily, having gained about 4 ounces since last
week. That puts her at just over a pound. Since she's almost a foot long (picture an ear of corn),
s he cuts a pretty lean figure at this point, but her body is filling out
proportionally and she'll soon start to plump up. Her brain is also
growing quickly now, and her taste buds are continuing to develop. Her
lungs are developing "branches" of the respiratory "tree" as well as
cells that produce surfactant, a substance that will help her air sacs
inflate once she hits the outside world. Her skin is still thin and
translucent, but that will start to change soon.
Total Weight Gain/Loss: Total
weight gain is about 17-18 pounds.
Maternity Clothes: Yes
Movement: Lots of movement, feeling her all throughout the day! This past week she has been quite active in the middle of the night

What I miss: Nothing
Sleep: Awesome!! No problems falling asleep or getting comfortable
Symptoms: My feet are sore at the end of the day. It's hard to bend over and pick up things-- belly is getting in the way!
Cravings: Nothing in particular

What I am looking forward to: Molly's 4th birthday party this weekend. We are going to Edgewater for the day to celebrate. Looking forward to packing for MN too!!
