20 weeks!!

We have reached our half way point-- YEAH!! 

We will find out Baby Manning's gender next Wednesday- my mom is flying down to be there with me!! We are also going to tour the birthing center and register at Babies R Us and Target while she is here. We have a busy few days planned.. 

19 weeks

I am beginning to get really good at using the timer to take a picture!!  Baby Manning is still very active- the baby seems to enjoy doing flips when I am laying in bed at night.. 

18 weeks!!

I am beginning to feel movement from baby Manning.. It is a weird feeling but it is so neat at the same time.  I am feeling more tired at the end of the day than I did in the past but with Jason not being here, I am going to bed early! My appetite has been good, no major cravings or foods that gross me out.  At the last doctor appointment she said the heart rate was in the 150's and everything sounded good!  We are so blessed!!

Crib and Dresser!!!

As many of you may know, it was quite the process to get the crib.. Thankfully I have two great friends in Florida that were willing to go the extra mile to help me get the crib.  I found the crib while I was on vacation in MN.  Target does not ship items to stores so I had to go on a mission to find the crib at at Jacksonville Target.  I found it pretty easily at a Target by our house.  I also found the dresser at a different Target close to our house.  I called my two great friends (Jackie and Nathan) to see if they would pick it up for me and bring it to my house.  They went and got the dresser with no problems.. Then off to get the crib and problems arose!! They were told that the crib had been recalled and they could not sell it to them.  I did lots of searching online and made several phone calls and find out that it was NOT recalled. My dad made it his mission to get us that crib- he made several phone calls to corporate Target to get everything straightened out.  After Jackie and Nathan made several trips to Target, they finally were able to get the crib for us!!!

Update on Jason!

As many of you know, Jason is on deployment and stationed in Kadena, Japan.  Last weekend in the middle of the night he was sent to Thailand in order to track a North Korean ship that was heading towards Iran.  He called from Thailand on Sunday morning and said he made it safely and he would be there for about 1 month and would be staying at a Marriott hotel in Pattaya. (Beauitful spa and resort!!).  He then sent me an email Tuesday and said the North Korean ship had turned around and now they were scrambling to get back to Kadena so they could continue to track it.  He has not yet emailed or called to say he arrived back in Kadena but I expect to hear from him within the next few days!  I will update again when I hear from him!
